The founders of PostPeakLiving.com are committed to helping people prepare for peak oil. Everyone alive on the planet has lived during the first half of the age of oil, typified by cheap and abundant oil, and no one has all the answers about what society will look like as oil becomes much more scarce and expensive. We passionately support people becoming informed and prepared, and know that a successful transition requires strong local communities. Each founder brings an extensive business and community service background to the creation of PostPeakLiving.com. We are working toward what's possible: a world full of thriving, bustling communities who have relocalized and reduced their dependency on oil.

Craig Wichner
Craig Wichner is a seasoned executive with 18 years of hands-on experience in private equity and in building software, business services, technology and biotech companies. He has helped raise over $100 million in 14 funding rounds, helped build a company from startup through IPO, and has led three M&A transactions. Before moving into private equity, Mr. Wichner served as CEO/President/CFO for three successful companies, two of which were venture-funded, including his last company which automated charitable giving programs for Fortune 500 companies including General Motors, Charles Schwab, EDS and others. Mr. Wichner has served on numerous boards of directors and advisory boards.

Mr. Wichner is dedicated to creating a sustainable presence for human beings on this planet, including both helping create the infrastructure for a post-petroleum future, as well as helping people handle the transition powerfully. Mr. Wichner is a noted speaker, and currently speaks on topics related to Peak Oil, particularly the investment ramifications, challenges and opportunities it creates. Mr. Wichner is an initial member of Post Carbon Marin, the Natural Resources Defense Council, and Virgin Galactic (as an astronaut-in-training). He lives with his family in Marin County, California. 

André Angelantoni 
As well as cofounding Post Peak Living, André Angelantoni is a co-founder of Post Carbon Marin, an initiative in Marin county to prepare it for peak oil. Trained as a civil engineer at the University of Toronto and founder of Inspiring Green Leadership, Mr. Angelantoni has supported over 35 businesses in the Bay Area of California to obtain the Green Business Certification.

André is an insightful and engaging speaker whose peak oil research, speaking and writing educates audiences on the nature of peak oil and how to rapidly transition society to a low energy reality. He is proud to call himself a tree hugger with a business sense and his favorite trip is to rain forests; he has visited them in Australia, Central America and British Columbia. He is a Canadian transplanted to California and now lives with his wife in Marin County, California.
